Inside AVO Engineering

When the NFPA Board wrote the requirements for Arc Flash Hazard Analysis we know their intention was not to put a generic arc flash hazard warning label on all electrical equipment. Their intentions weren’t to slow down your employees with the highest rated PPE either. Properly done, this Analysis will protect personnel by making sure they wear appropriate PPE and minimize hazards, where possible. At AVO Electrical Engineering Division, we have a strong vision for improving electrical safety and reliability around the world.

  • We never estimate or use outdated data in an analysis. Accurate data in equals accurate data out
  • We know NFPA 70E and IEEE better than anybody else (Dennis K. Neitzel, our Director, is an expert for both regarding arc flash)
  • We provide more than data about your current state; we create solutions to reduce arc flash hazards
  • We know that budgets are limited, so we provide solutions that can save you money like allowing for mitigation changes before we print labels and data maintenance options to incorporate system modifications
