AVO never estimates or uses outdated data in an analysis. Our field technician(s) will perform onsite data collection from all applicable electrical equipment required to build an engineering software model of your facility’s power system. You do have the option to have your qualified staff perform the data collection using our forms.
Data to be collected includes:
- Utility available fault current at the entrance to the facility
- Nameplate of every electrical device
- Ratings and trip settings of every protective device
- Sizes, lengths and cross sections of all conductors
If AVO collects the data, a qualified facility electrician or technician will need to be available for opening all required electrical equipment. We will input the data gathered into engineering software to provide the basis for comprehensive power distribution system modeling used for your analysis.
